Lifting Subs 


Lifting subs are made of AISI 4145H modified chromium-molybdemum alloy steel according to API Specification 7. All threads are phosphated, copperized or cold worked.

Lift Subs - provide a way to lift the Drill Collars up into the mast and then into the hole. The Drill Pipe Elevators are what picks up the Lift Sub, so the top section of the tool is machined to fit in the Elevator just like a joint of drill pipe does.
